Duncan Aviation needed a large, 12×30 temporary structure to be used for working on aircraft components. Because of the type of work they were doing on the aircraft, dust containment was a major concern. Additionally, the building needed to meet industry requirements for electric, window placement, doors, wall height, insulation, plus floor load and finish. And they needed this building fast, with a three-week deadline on delivery.
To meet these specific structural requirements within a tight timeframe, our solution was a structure with non-combustible interior framing, extra tall 9’6” wall height, vinyl composition tile flooring, double 3/8” floor sheathing, and a variety of doors and windows. We also installed a 2-ton wall mounted HVAC system to filter the dust and residue out of the building, along with specific electrical placement specs for their equipment. The building also needed to be a fully modular structure to meet the “Temporary Structure” permit for the site. Tuff Shed delivered the building to the Provo, Utah airport fully assembled and on time.
The Tuff Shed Advantage:

- Integrated dust filtration system
- Custom wall height
